Residential Farm Stay

A house that represent modern design with traditional materials.

This house is a testament to the revival of traditional architecture while incorporating modern open planning principles. The design focuses on creating a seamless connection between the interior and exterior spaces, with the living area accessible from all four directions. This balanced interconnection allows for a harmonious flow between indoors and outdoors, enhancing the overall living experience.

One of the notable aspects of this house is the emphasis on sustainability and the use of recycled materials. Doors, windows, and bricks from the old residence have been repurposed, giving them a new life and contributing to the sense of balance between materials and structure. This approach not only adds character to the house but also reduces waste and promotes environmental consciousness.

Spanning an area of 2500 square feet, this house is located in Harda, a city in Madhya Pradesh. Its design and aesthetics pay homage to the traditional architectural style of the region, while incorporating modern elements to meet the needs and preferences of contemporary living. This blend of tradition and innovation creates a unique and inviting space that celebrates the rich heritage of Madhya Pradesh.

Completed by September 2021, this house serves as a reminder of the beauty and functionality that can be achieved through the integration of traditional design principles and sustainable practices.
