Malwa Mahila Kabir Yatra
Initiation by Eklavya Foundation
The Malwa Mahila Kabir Yatra is an event organized by the Eklavya foundation, a non-governmental organization focused on children's welfare. This specific event was the first time the Mahila Kabir Yatra celebrated women artists. Our team was invited to design the stages for the performances, which took place shortly after the Malwa Kabir Yatra. Given the limited time available for preparation, we decided to use the same stage props but infused them with a higher level of creativity.
To create the logo for the event, we opted for metal frames, jute cloth, mud, and chalk, and constructed it on-site a day before the performances. With the stages, we engaged in extensive mix and match, allowing the locations to influence the design. Some of the locations we utilized were Tonk Khurd, Luniya Khedi, and Indore.
By using the available materials, incorporating the unique qualities of the locations, and incorporating our existing stage props, we transformed the design process into a highly creative endeavor.
